Scope\/Responsibility<\/em><\/p>\n

While the Web Front End Developer reports directly to the VP, Director of Database Development within Strategic Operations organizationally<\/em>, this role is duly accountable to the Project Manager responsible on a project<\/em> basis. Responsibilities will include understanding project requirements from an interface perspective in order to create prototype designs, at the very least in html format, for approval from end users via Project Management.<\/p>\n

Position Requirements<\/em><\/p>\n

o \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Background in visual communication, web development and 3+ years of professional experience in user interface design<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Balanced Interaction Design skills (IA and UI), visual design sensibilities and an understanding of how all disciplines must exist\u00a0together to create experienced design solutions<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Be proactive in making suggestions for improvements<\/p>\n

o \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fanatical attention to detail and exercise quality control in all practices<\/p>\n

o \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Solid understanding of color palettes, typography, and print design principles<\/p>\n

o \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Desire to constantly be better, learn new techniques and stay abreast of the latest user experience trends<\/p>\n

o \u00a0 \u00a0Be proactive and self-sufficient in solving problems<\/p>\n

o \u00a0\u00a0 Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team<\/p>\n

o \u00a0\u00a0 Be proficient in the following:<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 HTML, CSS<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Adobe Photoshop<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Microsoft Visio<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 JavaScript<\/p>\n

Specific Duties<\/em><\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Produce prototype designs that are easily explained and can demonstrate the required specifications laid out in the requirements<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Collaborate in the translation of high level objectives and business requirements into functional requirements, interaction flow diagrams and wireframes<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Contribute additional value to applications above and beyond business requirements through sophisticated design<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Communicate and express ideas clearly with excellent written and verbal skills<\/p>\n
