This is a great opportunity for you or someone you barely know!
\n Someecards.com is only a year old and already has huge and steadily growing
\n traffic, lots of awesome press and buzz, and a fan base that can only be
\n described as deeply passionate or slightly psychotic. You’ll be coming in at
\n the ground level and have an integral role in developing the vision for a
\n new kind of Web-based social platform. Applicants must be located in NYC, be
\n fully dedicated to taking the site and brand to the next level, and have
\n little to no fashion sense.<\/p>\n
Required Skills:
\n – Expert knowledge of PHP 5, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
\n – Expert knowledge of relational database design and deployment for dynamic
\n DB driven sites using MySQL 5
\n – Strong understanding of HTML design capabilities and constraints of
\n various platforms and browsers
\n – Minimum of 3 years of STRONG Object Oriented Design and Programming
\n Experience
\n – MVC\/tiered architectures
\n – Skilled frontend (AJAX)
\n – Experience with Apache, SVN, SSH, etc.<\/p>\n
Additional Considerations:
\n – An understanding of Ad serving, optimization and reporting.
\n – Experience managing email lists and large email sends
\n – Understanding of CANSPAM compliance
\n – Experience building e-commerce\/transactional functionality
\n – Experience building login\/registration functionality and managing user
\n accounts
\n – Experience with SEO<\/p>\n
