\nDirector, UX leads and ensures adherence to a best practices,
\nhuman-centered approach to UX design at Method. With the VP, UX, the
\nDirector, UX will define and promulgate industry-leading practices for
\nall aspects of Method's UX practice. A Director, UX, will ensure that
\nthose principles are carried out in Method work, by developing
\nappropriate work plans during the business development process, by
\nmodeling those practices in project work, and by overseeing and
\nmentoring other UX designers, ensuring quality deliverables and helping
\njunior designers understand and model Method practices.<\/p>\n
\ns for developing and refining UX best practices and processes.

\nWorking with the VP, UX and other Method personnel to develop
\neffective, collaborative processes for delivering strategic and
\ninnovative solutions to business problems and client needs.
\no During the business development process, working with c=
\nlient
\nservices personnel and other discipline leads to create project plans
\nthat support best practices and deliver against the client's goals. o
\nExecuting, and lead other UX designers in executing, quality
\ndeliverables for all aspects of UX work, including user research and
\nanalysis, requirements definition, conceptual design, content planning,
\ninteraction planning, interaction specification, and quality assurance.
\nCreating project deliverables that clearly and persuasively communicate
\nthe UX strategy and the reasoning behind it.
\no Mentoring UX designers and Senior UX Designers in devel=
\noping their
\nUX skills and, with the VP, UX assisting them in growth along a planned
\ncareer path.
o Participating in recruiting and screeni=
\nng potential members of the UX staff.
\no Creating user experiences that can be mapped directly t=
\no the business and user requirements of the project.

\nRepresenting the user experience requirements of the project to other team m=
\nembers and to the client.<\/p>\n

\nexperience approaches that take into account requirements and feedback
\nof other team members. Also, providing appropriate feedback to team
\nmembers to ensure that user experience requirements are met.
\no Staying abreast of industry best practices for UX desig=
\nn and
\nprocesses, and for any project, gathering sufficient information to
\nsupport appropriate UX design for the given platform and technology.&=

\nespecially focused on running workshops and presenting and defending UX
\ndesigns and decisions
\no Ability to work with technology experts to uncover and =
\nunderstand
\ntechnology requirements and capabilities as they relate to user
\nexperience.
o Fluency with standard UX design tools, s=
\nuch as Adobe CS3, Visio, OmniGraffle, Office, etc.<\/p>\n
