\nLead Systems Architect will assume a leading management role within the com=

\nand R&D team.  This includes managing the infrastructure of world =

\napplications that serve millions while managing multiple data centers and o=

\nmain office.   This person will be the lead authority in the comp=
\nany regarding
\nall systems issues, will understand, advise and implement systems aspects o=

\nR&D product development and represent the needs of the systems team and

 <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Proven
\n experience working with internet-based client-server applications: A
\n minimum of 5 years working with a company which delivers applications =
\nover
\n the web in a senior position.<\/span><\/font>
\n <\/span><\/font>
\n Able
\n to interact comfortably with senior management, business units and
\n application development teams and provide a high level of confidence i=
\nn
\n the reliability of systems and solutions.<\/span><\/font>
\n <\/span><\/font>
\n System
\n monitoring: (NAGIOS a plus)  Develop and manage system monitoring
\n infrastructure and assume responsibility for issue escalation based on
\n maintaining 100% application uptime and the parameters of defined serv=
\nice
\n level agreements.<\/span><\/font> <\/font>
\n Networking:
\n Experience with hardware load balancing (Cisco a plus), LAN infrastruc=
\nture
\n (switches, cabling), firewalls (IOS), VPNS and intrusion detection
\n systems.<\/span><\/font> <\/font>
\n System
\n Administration: Strong Linux experience managing Apache, MySQL, Samba =
\nand
\n NFS servers is a requirement (provisioning, maintenance and performanc=
\ne
\n tuning).  Windows Server and MSSQL a plus.<\/span><\/font>
\n <\/span><\/font>
\n High
\n Availability\/Scalability: Good knowledge of the different methods of
\n providing redundancy on many levels to ensure that application integri=
\nty
\n is not compromised including Linux system clustering, MySQL replicatio=
\nn,
\n component redundancy and recovery from failure.  Develop and main=
\ntain
\n horizontal and vertical scalability for infrastructure components.<\/font> <\/span><\/font>
\n Vendor
\n Relations: Work with vendors for all datacenter infrastructure compone=
\nnts
\n and manage and maintain the physical inventory.<\/span><\/font>
\n <\/span><\/font>
\n Content
\n Delivery Networks: Good understanding of the function and use of a CDN=
\n in
\n web-based applications and the ability to maintain all points of
\n integration.<\/span><\/font> <\/font>
\n Client
\n Relations: Act as a point of contact for client technical staff during=
\n the
\n implementation phase and for any troubleshooting and debugging of
\n application issues that are related to core system and
\n infrastructure.  Act as technical lead for integration with
\n third-party systems when systems and infrastructure are involved.<\/font> <\/span><\/font>
\n Programming:
\n Experience with PHP a plus.  Perl and bash experience required.<\/font> <\/span><\/font>
\n API:
\n Developing specifications for and implementing APIs<\/span><\/font> <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n
