NYU Department of Facilities and Construction Management (FCM) is
\nlooking for an undergraduate student who is eager to do application
\ndevelopment and support.<\/p>\n
The candidate should be available to work as a student for at least
\ntwo – three years. They should be willing to learn new skills and
\ntake initiative.<\/p>\n
The position involves development of applications using PHP and
\nMySQL. The candidate should be experienced in HTML and CSS, and have
\nfamiliarity with relational databases, Java and Javascript. Knowledge
\nof SQL, server-side and client-side scripting is preferred.<\/p>\n
In addition, there are technical support and data entry tasks that
\nneed to be done on a regular basis to maintain departmental systems.<\/p>\n
This job will provide lots of practical experience in scripting
\nlanguages and application support.<\/p>\n
Expected Start Date is September, 2008.<\/p>\n
Salary per hour is $15\/hour<\/p>\n
