Visual\/Interaction Designer – Mobile<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Financial company is looking for a talented visual\/interaction designer to join the product management team responsible for building best-in-class mobile applications. Candidate must be an exceptional visual\/interaction designer who has a passion for mobile technology, including feature phones, smartphones, and tablets.<\/p>\n

Job duties include:<\/p>\n

— Assist product managers with designing new features for our existing mobile products<\/p>\n

— Provide technology with necessary assets and style guides to assist development<\/p>\n

— Collaborate on concepts and designs for new platforms and technologies<\/p>\n

— Stay on top of the latest interaction opportunities within the mobile space<\/p>\n

— Create engaging designs that are highly intuitive<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

— BA required in design related discipline<\/p>\n

— 3+ years of experience in mobile, web, and app design<\/p>\n

— Experience with iPhone\/iPad\/Android\/BlackBerry native development, and familiar with native controls and interaction possibilities<\/p>\n

— Familiar with HTML5 and Javascript capabilities<\/p>\n

— Must have good time management skills<\/p>\n

— Must be comfortable working in a collaborative and corporate environment, where multiple designs are encouraged and explored<\/p>\n

— Must be an expert in Photoshop and Illustrator, with Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel skills<\/p>\n

— Should have some finance experience (e.g. Trade Stocks\/Options), with an interest in learning more<\/p>\n

— Must have a solid online portfolio with many examples of visual design across a variety of platforms<\/p>\n
