Forest Hills, NY &#8211; (FSC)<\/p>\n<p>Position Posted On<br \/>\n04\/11\/2011<\/p>\n<p>Reference Code<br \/>\nNC52051278-E<\/p>\n<p>Tasks<\/p>\n<p>Position Summary:<\/p>\n<p>The Instructional Solutions Developer provides support to all of JetBlue\u00a0University (JBU) colleges and JetBlue departments to develop, support,\u00a0evaluate and maintain learning initiatives in an effort to provide a\u00a0valuable learning experience. \u00a0The Instructional Solutions Developer\u00a0partners with Business Partners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and\u00a0designated leads using consulting skills to perform needs analysis,\u00a0select the right delivery option, develop the solution, and support\u00a0Instructional Solutions for corporate-wide training initiatives. \u00a0The\u00a0Instructional Developer needs to project manage, contribute, and oversee\u00a0work of others to complete deliverables on-time. \u00a0Overall, the Instructional Solutions Developer uses initiative and innovation by\u00a0providing customer-focus, during all phases of development, support\u00a0release and evaluation.<\/p>\n<p>Essential Functions:<\/p>\n<p>*Works with Leadership to manage project portfolio<br \/>\n*Works with Learning Solutions Team as needed to support development of\u00a0Crew members and manage work flow<br \/>\n*Works with Leadership and peers to project manage, develop, support,\u00a0and maintain, strategic initiates including but not limited to: \u00a0evaluation program, course maintenance program, new tool implementation,\u00a0and documentation<br \/>\n*Establishes and communicates \u00a0guidelines and recommendations for\u00a0process and procedure related to Instructional Solutions development<br \/>\n*Partners with the other Learning Technologies peers to effectively\u00a0project manage and contribute to all phases including content\u00a0development, release, support, evaluation and revision cycle of learning<br \/>\n*Works as an Instructional Design consultant with Leadership, Learning\u00a0Technologies Team, SMEs (Subject Matter Experts, project leads and\u00a0Business Partners \u00a0in training needs in all phases of learning solution\u00a0development<br \/>\n*Works independently or with guidance to create, support and maintain\u00a0Instructional Solutions in multiple delivery platforms as assigned\u00a0including: Rapid-development, video, eLearning and classroom training<br \/>\n*Designs and develops Instructional Solutions using existing\u00a0Instructional Solutions, source documentation, and collaboration with\u00a0SMEs to create course objectives and outlines<br \/>\n*Supports SMEs in independent training development projects providing\u00a0instructional design, design and software expertise<br \/>\n*Contributes to the immediate and long-term vision for the Learning\u00a0Solutions division; researching, implementing, training and developing\u00a0using the guidelines provided by leadership<br \/>\n*Supports and participate in initiatives outside the division including\u00a0task force, temporary ISD assignment, facilitator, etc.<br \/>\n*Keeps abreast of new and developing trends in training and adult\u00a0learning and applies them to research and Instructional Solutions\u00a0initiatives<br \/>\nInteractions:<\/p>\n<p>Supervision Received:<\/p>\n<p>*Plans and carries out work assignments and handles problems in\u00a0accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, or accepted\u00a0practices in the occupation. \u00a0Consults with Crewleader on unique\u00a0situations which do not have clear precedents<\/p>\n<p>Supervisory Duties:<\/p>\n<p>*Trains and assigns work to Crewmembers on an occasional basis;
