Launched in December 2008 with an initial<br \/>\ncontribution of EUR 50 million (US$65 million) from the Government of Spain, and subsequently joined<br \/>\nby the government of Norway, the Fund provides grants on a competitive basis to civil society and<br \/>\ngovernmental agencies in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, the Arab States, Latin America and the Caribbean,<br \/>\nCentral and Eastern Europe, and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Up to date, the Fund has<br \/>\nprovided grants to 27 Catalytic grantees projects and 13 Implementation grant initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>As part of a broader Knowledge Management and Communications strategy to collect, analyze and<br \/>\nshare knowledge about FGE and our grantees, the Fund would like to commission the creation of three<br \/>\nfactsheets. Specifically the factsheets should use text and visual elements to clearly and creatively<br \/>\nhighlight the work of the Fund and of our grantees. The themes of the three factsheets are as follows: 1)<br \/>\nFGEs Grantmaking Program; 2) Overview of 2009-2010 Grantees; 3) In-depth case study of a specific<br \/>\ngrantmaking theme (TBD).<\/p>\n<p>Please note that this is not a Graphic Designer position. The Graphic Analyst is expected to convert<br \/>\nstatistics and data into informative graphically driven factsheets.
