Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

The Solutions Architect is primarily tasked with creating software and infrastructure solutions based on defined business requirements and ensuring the technology pieces work together flawlessly. The right candidate will possess the skills necessary to predict issues from afar and develop mitigation strategies that address various project risks. A Solutions Architect must also be able to describe the solution in plain English to customer and ensure that buy-in is obtained.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must be able to create feasible technology solutions that satisfy business requirements, project timelines and budget constraints<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must be able to develop high level software and systems architecture documentation<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must be able to communicate with business leads and software developers<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must be able to create work breakdown structures for software solutions and plot on a project timeline<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must be able to outline and monitor implementation of solutions delivered by 3rd<\/sup> party vendors (e.g. hosting infrastructure, data feed providers, , etc.)<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Implementation-level experience with modern web content delivery solutions (e.g. CMS, CDN, Video delivery, Ad delivery, Web Analytics, etc.)<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Implementation-level experience with mid-tier application server infrastructure<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Implementation-level experience with fault-tolerant database back-end infrastructure<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In-depth knowledge of object-oriented design concepts, enterprise patterns and data storage implementations<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a03+ yrs of hands-on experience with one or more modern object oriented languages (e.g. Java, C#, C++, etc.)<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a03+ yrs of hands-on experience with modern database systems (e.g. MSSQL, MySQL, etc.)<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a03+ yrs of hands-on experience with modern web front-end technologies (e.g. AJAX, Flash\/Flex, etc.)<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Good understanding of networking technologies (network stack, IP routing, DNS, etc.)<\/p>\n

Bonus Points:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Computer science degree a plus<\/p>\n
