Freelance position to last 4-8 weeks, preferably on-site full-time in our offices in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n<p>Skills &amp; Requirements<\/p>\n<p>1+years with proven portfolio of workflows, wireframes, and  specifications<br \/>\nStrong understanding of usability and interaction design<br \/>\nWork well in a collaborative, detail-oriented team environment<br \/>\nStrong writing and communication skills<\/p>\n<p>Pluses:<br \/>\nExperience designing mobile applications<br \/>\nExperience with enterprise applications<br \/>\nAbility to speak fluent geek<\/p>\n<p>F\/T front end role:<\/p>\n<p>EnergyHub is seeking an experienced freelance front-end web developer\/engineer. Work with design, business, and technology to build next-generation green tech tools. We prefer candidates who are able to work on-site with our Brooklyn-based team.<\/p>\n<p>Skills &amp; Requirements<\/p>\n<p>You are:<\/p>\n<p>Able to work and collaborate with designers, product managers, and  engineers.<br \/>\nComfortable with rapid prototyping and with detailed specifications  reviews.<br \/>\nAble to communicate clearly in meetings, in writing, and in code.<br \/>\nComfortable with task identification, work effort estimates, and maintaining work schedules.<br \/>\nActively engaged with new techniques and technologies, not because the job demands it but because it\u2019s a passion.<br \/>\nHappiest working in small, collaborative, energetic teams.<br \/>\nDetail-minded and self-motivated.<\/p>\n<p>Required Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>3+ years experience with HTML, CSS, AJAX, and jQuery<br \/>\nStrong command of web standards<br \/>\nSuccessful implementation of a highly designed, high traffic, dynamic consumer website (think SaaS)<br \/>\nPrevious work experience with Amazon Web Services and\/or cloud-based architectures<br \/>\nPrevious work experience with Linux and Apache<br \/>\nWorking knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CS4 (Illustrator a plus)<\/p>\n<p>Pluses:<\/p>\n<p>Experience building production web applications<br \/>\nFamiliarity with Android, GIT, XMPP\/Jabber, JUnit<br \/>\nKnowledge of HCI and application UI design<br \/>\nSome sort of ridiculous hobby<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have two jobs, a short-term freelance IxD need and a full-time front-end developer need.
