\nEntrepreneurial educational company seeks an exceptional UI\/UX designer to create the visual design and interaction flow of our online courseware and other products. This is a hands-on position responsible for creating elegant and intuitive designs for web and mobile products.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Design the interface and interaction flow of new web and software applications by considering business and functional requirements, along with market analysis, customer feedback, usability findings<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Develop concepts, wireframes and mockups<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Develop and maintain style guides and user-interface specifications<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Bachelor\u2019s degree, master\u2019s degree a plus.<\/strong> Prefer formal education and\/or training in areas of graphic\/web design<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fluency in best practices for web and online user experience design<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strong understanding of front-end development; ability to hand-code HTML\/CSS\/Javascript a plus<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Visual design expertise demonstrated through an extremely strong online portfolio, including links to final projects, mockups, wireframes and style guides<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Experience designing icons<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Experience in mobile application\/site design<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proficiency in a variety of design tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Visio\/Omnigraffle.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to rapidly create UI designs for iterative product development and user testing<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to consult, collaborate, facilitate, and lead<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Self-direction and an ability to manage multiple projects on-time with a high degree of quality<\/p>\n

Preferred Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3+ years experience as a user experience\/user interface designer or comparable roles<\/p>\n
