The Personalized Relevancy, Ranking\u00a0and Recommendation (PR3) team at Nokia Research Center in Palo Alto, CA is looking for a highly qualified researcher to take a leading role in inventing the next-generation of personalized search, behavioral modeling, and location-based services.\u00a0 This is a rare opportunity to combine research in data mining, pattern matching, and recommendations with real-world, large-scale analytics on massive datasets<\/div>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Develop rich user profiles that enhance personalized search and recommendation<\/div>\n
\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Propose and evaluate techniques that improve local search and recommendations<\/div>\n

Desired Skills & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a05+ years research or industrial experience with analysis of large datasets<\/div>\n
\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Core strength in design, implementation, and evaluation of scalable algorithms<\/div>\n
\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Demonstrated experience in predictive analytics as well as (ideally) behavior modeling, search, pattern matching, and recommender systems.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
