The University of Miami seeks a webmaster responsible for all technical
\naspects of the web strategies and online initiatives to meet key education,
\nresearch, informational and promotional objectives of the School of
\nCommunication, the Knight Center for International Media and related
\nentities.
\nSpecific Responsibilities of the position are to design and develop
\nwebsites, redesign and update websites as needed, perform content updates
\nincluding maintenance and enhancements, develop and advise on new web
\nstrategies and workflow, and to work in a collaborative environment with
\nfaculty and staff to create and maintain excellent web assets.
\nMinimum qualifications include 3 years experience a bachelor’s degree in
\ncomputer science or related field, or any appropriate combination of
\nrelevant education, experience, and\/or certifications will be considered.
\nCandidate should be proficient in programming:
\nHTML\/Javascript\/ActionScript\/PHP and MySQL; design: Illustrator and
\nPhotoshop; possess strong writing skills and pay attention to detail.
