We have direct access to big name athletic brands that are interested in partnering with our product and providing distribution channels to promote awareness of our app.<\/p>\n
Job Description:
\nWe are looking for a lead back-end developer to design and implement all server-side data storage and client communication. The developer will work directly with the founders and have significant impact on the product before it launches. This is a great opportunity for you to take the technical lead on a project that will be endorsed by household brands and be distributed to a large user base.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:
\n– Strong experience in backend programming (PHP or node.js)
\n– Experience with document-oriented databases such as CouchDB or
\nMongoDB and relational databases SQL\/MySQL\/NoSQL
\n– Previous work involving real time client – server – client interaction
\n– Writes efficient code, pays particular attention to minimizing run time
\n– Desire to be technical lead, self-starter who can pick up new languages<\/p>\n
Location\/Hours:
\nWe are based in New York, but are flexible to a developer working remotely and on his\/her own time schedule. The candidate must have enough time to complete an elegant and efficient final product that is app store ready.<\/p>\n
Compensation:
\nDepends on experience and availability, potential for equity and\/or revenue share.<\/p>\n
