JSP Expert- Web Engineer\/Developer<\/p>\n

Job Description:
\nDemandforce is looking for an outstanding Web Engineer to join our engineer team. The product has been incredibly successful\u2026 we are rapidly growing and may double in the next 12 months if not triple in the next 18 months. This individual will be responsible for front-end JSP work on a Tomcat\/MySQL\/Linux stack. Our ideal candidate is an energetic, motivated, self-starter looking to join an exciting growing company where contributions make a difference.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:
\n\u00a7 Develop, test, maintain, and support innovative software-as-a-service portal products.
\n\u00a7 Work closely with senior platform engineers on product design and architecture.
\n\u00a7 Frequent interaction with a variety of product development, including product management, software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and customer support.
\n\u00a7 Work in all phases of a rapid product development lifecycle.<\/p>\n

Required Skills\/Experience:
\n\u00a7 Expert JSP development skills with 3 or more years of experience.
\n\u00a7 Strong Javascript skills: including OOP development in JavaScript, ability to work with and improve JavaScript frameworks, and an understanding of RIA technologies. At least 1 to 2 years of experience.
\n\u00a7 Familiarity with J2EE environments, particularly Apache Tomcat.
\n\u00a7 Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
\n\u00a7 Knowledge of SQL queries.
\n\u00a7 Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
\n\u00a7 Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.<\/p>\n

Be able to answer:
\nHow would you rate your experience with JSP?
\nWhat are a few of your favorite development tools and why?
\nWhy ‘7’ + 4 gives ’74’ whereas ‘7’ – 4 gives 3
\nHow do you manage cookies via ajax?
\nWhat industry sites and blogs do you read regularly?<\/p>\n

Pluses:
\n\u00a7 Experience with Linux, MySQL, Spring, and Apache.
\n\u00a7 Experience developing large software systems.
\n\u00a7 Experience with SAAS products.<\/p>\n

Preferred:
\n* Work experience in a fast paced start-up experience
\n* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and experience.<\/p>\n
