The Quidsi culture \u2013 a classic startup \u2013 is widely known as entrepreneurial, fiercely intelligent, team-oriented and deeply creative.\u00a0 In recognition of its startup success,\u00a0<em>Inc<\/em> magazine recently ranked Quidsi #35 in its annual list of the 500 fastest growing companies, and named it the #1 retailer, online or off.<\/p>\n<p>Quidsi Inc is currently seeking an experienced\u00a0<strong>Customer Care Trainer. <\/strong>The trainer is responsible for the design and delivery of various training initiatives, including new hire training.\u00a0 The ideal candidate is a dynamic, customer focused, creative leader with excellent presentation and writing skills.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Prepare and facilitate both classroom and webinar training<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Assist the Training Manager in identifying and addressing training needs<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Develop, modify and maintain new hire training curriculum<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Coordinate and design standardized training materials (including leader guides, multimedia visual aids, job aids, practical exercises, self-learning and\/or web based instruction formats) for new and existing programs, promotions, processes, services and systems<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Update and modify materials based on best practices, policy\/product\/system updates or to improve employee performance\/training effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Effectively communicate with call center Representatives, Managers and cross functional departments to identify and recommend process improvements<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Perform all administrative duties associated with conducting training (including all pre-training prep work, administering schedules, obtaining system logins, post training assessments)<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Additional responsibilities as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Knowledge of adult learning principles<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Excellent presentation and facilitation skills<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Demonstrated proficiency in instructional design principles, processes and methodologies<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proficiency in Word\/Excel\/PowerPoint (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus)<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must be highly motivated, organized and detail oriented<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Some evening and holiday hours may be required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree required<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Minimum 3-5 years training experience (training experience in a call center or ecommerce environment a plus)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This position is located in Jersey City, NJ.
