WEB \/ GRAPHIC DESIGN ASSISTANT POSITION=A0<\/span>at the<\/div>\n
\n NYU is=A0 looking for a Web Assistant to work 10-20 hours per week in our o=
\nffice, contributing to the design and maintenance of our office’s website as=
\n well as occasional work in producing graphics\/images for our print publicat=
\nions. This is a student-worker position opening in our office, and we’re loo=
\nking for a talented student with strong web and graphic design skills for th=
\ne role.<\/div>\n
\ns with creating and maintaining the design elements of the Wasserman Center =
\nwebsite and=A0 and some tech support.=A0<\/span>Photoshop<\/b>=A0<\/span>and=
\n=A0<\/span>Illustrator<\/b>=A0<\/span>are used often, as are an FTP program =
\nand an HTML editor.=A0<\/span>JavaSc=
\nript<\/b>,=A0<\/span>HTML<\/b>, and=
\n=A0<\/span>Dreamweaver<\/b>=A0<\/span>also may be used daily.=A0<\/span>Flash<\/b>=A0<\/span>is used less frequently, but it is a must.<\/div>\n

\n tech-unsavvy people is a must. Other tasks include updating links and other=
\n text around the site as information changes, creating graphics that fit wit=
\nh the site, and helping students at the office with any computer problems th=
\nat arise. The office has PCs as well as Macs, so troubleshooting experience =
\nwith both is a plus.<\/div>\n
