\n> obesity. The Alliance focuses on preventing childhood obesity and
\n> creating
\n> healthier lifestyles for all children and targets several areas to
\n> spark
\n> change and reduce the increasing rates of childhood obesity in the
\n> U.S. The
\n> effort focuses on four key areas: industry, schools, healthcare,
\n> and kids.

\n> You can become a part of this exciting endeavor. The Web & Technology
\n> Manager will be responsible for expanding and maintaining a state-
\n> of-the art
\n> online resource site for schools and maintaining a distance
\n> learning system
\n> for use by educators throughout the country. This person must have
\n> excellent
\n> web analytic skills and experience with user testing, web analytics
\n> and user
\n> interface. The position reports to the Healthy Schools Program’s
\n> Associate
\n> Director for Strategic Initiatives and is charged with overseeing the
\n> general design, maintenance, and promotion of
\n> www.healthiergeneration.org\/schools in coordination with the
\n> Alliance Lead
\n> Web and Technology Manager.
\n>
\n> Major Responsibilities:
\n>
\n> -Create web traffic metrics by working with the schools team to
\n> determine
\n> priorities
\n> -Use Google analytics to create and evaluate tracking goals
\n> -Work with the school’s field team to get direct feedback on the
\n> user’s
\n> experience with the healthiergeneration.org\/schools site via
\n> surveys, user
\n> testing and ongoing dialogue with relationship managers
\n> -Create detailed monthly reports identifying where we are
\n> successful and
\n> where we need to improve based on Google analytics as well as
\n> details from
\n> user feedback and testing
\n> -Work with the School’s communication and marketing manager to
\n> constantly
\n> refine the school’s section of the website to meet the long term
\n> goals based
\n> on monthly reports
\n> -Execute periodic regular site redesigns updates and enhancements
\n> -Update and maintain site content and functionality
\n> -Develop and implement policies and procedures for content review and
\n> updates within the schools program
\n> -Oversee the online growth of the Healthy Schools Program (HSP)
\n> section of
\n> the Alliance website, including developing SEO, cross-promotion and
\n> external
\n> linkage strategies
\n> -Work with in-house graphic designer to create interactive online
\n> resources
\n> using a variety of technologies
\n> -Maintain all email marketing, including a monthly eBlast
\n> -Organize content between the American Heart Association and the
\n> Clinton
\n> Foundation websites to ensure the Healthy Schools Program is
\n> consistently
\n> represented
\n> -Act as Project Manager for outsourced web-related projects
\n> -Develop workflow for website updates and manage flow of web
\n> content within
\n> HSP
\n> -Maintain the current Learning Management System and revise user
\n> interface
\n> as needed
\n> -Maintain aesthetic integrity when converting print materials to
\n> the web
\n>

\n>
\n> Experience:
\n>
\n> Minimum Qualifications:
\n>
\n> -Bachelors’ degree from an accredited institution preferably in a
\n> web design
\n> related field
\n> -At least 5 years of professional web usability\/analytics
\n> experience and
\n> internet marketing
\n> -Strong understanding of cross-browser issues and solutions
\n> -Experience with user-interface design
\n> -Experience working with template-based content management systems
\n> -General web development understanding, such as validation,
\n> accessibility
\n> and web standards
\n> -Keen attention to detail
\n> -Knowledge of web-editing software, including Dreamweaver,
\n> Microsoft Visual
\n> Studio and\/or Web Developer
\n> -Strong communication and design skills.
\n> -Experience with Macromedia Flash, online multimedia content, and
\n> online
\n> communities a plus
\n> -Demonstrated experience in classic ASP, ASP.Net (C# or VB.Net), HTML,
\n> DHTML, and CSS
\n> -A portfolio with web samples is required
\n>
