Part Time Position Available<\/p>\n

Web Content and Front-End Programming Assistant<\/p>\n

Tisch School of the Arts Office of Computer Technology seeks to fill a part-time position to handle the following tasks:<\/p>\n

Assist the Asst. Director of Web Communications and the Web Developer with web-related projects, including, but not limited to: solicitation, selection and processing of media assets (images, text, and video); supplementing Web 2.0 applications and web sites using HTML, CSS and JavaScript; updating web display templates within Tisch’s content management system.<\/p>\n

The position will be open for the fall semester, with a possible extension into spring, and beyond.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:\u00a0Student should have proficiency in current web technologies. Able to self-organize and work independently. Willingness to work with media as well as coding.<\/p>\n

Technical qualifications:\u00a0HTML and CSS, JavaScript (JQuery and other libraries, and XML\/XSLT a plus).<\/p>\n

Salary\/hrs:\u00a0\u00a0~$15\/hr, dependent upon qualifications and experience; up to 15 hours per week (work schedule can be flexible to accommodate class hours).
