iGiveMore Inc. is a social enterprise start-up devoted to inspiring people to change the world through giving. We are developing an integrative web tool for charitable and political fundraising.<\/p>\n
This position focuses heavily on web development, especially for social networks. The applicant will initially develop a Facebook application and web portal and serve as an internal liaison to any outside development partners. This role will involve the development of tools for and aggregation of data across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, websites and email so a broad technical skill set is required.<\/p>\n
We are looking for a highly motivated, hardworking and versatile web programmer with experience in Facebook Application Development. S\/he must be a self-starter, work well in small dynamic groups and be able to offer clear feedback on technical challenges. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\u2022 Collaborate with outside development houses as well as substantial amount of hands-on coding<\/p>\n
\u2022 Primary Developer of the Facebook application and web portal.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Oversee the completion and integration of work by external developers.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Offer technical solutions for improving the functionality of the services iGiveMore renders.<\/p>\n
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\u2022 University or College degree in software engineering, computer science, or related area.<\/p>\n
REQUIRED SKILLS<\/p>\n
\u2022 Web experience including thorough understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, XML<\/p>\n
\u2022 Database experience including knowledge of SQL queries<\/p>\n
\u2022 Experience with Facebook application development and knowledge of Facebook API<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ability to provide input into product functionality and technical approach.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Identify inaccurate, incomplete or flawed designs early in the design\/development cycle with suggestions for alternative approaches.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Excellent technical skills along with continuous refinement in advanced programming techniques to increase speed of work while not compromising quality.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Good interpersonal skills<\/p>\n
