since I’m looking for academic teaching jobs. I thought an MPS WAS =
\nterminal? Especially in NYC? and on par with an MFA??? Any new thoughts abou=
\nt this as one who has to defend an MPS as terminal out of state???<\/div>\n

rank of assistant professor, beginning in =

The department offers undergraduate instruction in a vari=
\nety of disciplines, including
lighting, sound, show control, and video sy=
\nstems. New programs in development include
emerging media technology, mus=
\nic technology, interactive control, and video production.
The successful =
\ncandidate will teach courses in several areas including, but not limited toInteractive Media, Entertainment Control Systems, Electricity, Tangible C=
\nomputing, and
Introduction to Entertainment Technology. The Assistant Pro=
\nfessor will also be expected to
develop, plan, and prepare curricula rela=

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications for the rank of =
\nassistant professor include a terminal degree in a field related

\nactive media systems, and significant experience in both design and technica=

implementations. Media related software engineering experience and exce=

communications skills are essential. Candidates should provide evid=
\nence of creative,
professional, and scholarly activity with adequate docu=
\nmentation of productions,
publications, research, and curriculum material=
