2) championing  the effective use of data across the education sector; 3) strategically  connecting leaders and key organizations to accelerate solutions for the  education sector; and 4) attracting and preparing our nation\u2019s most  promising leaders to build impactful careers in education. This role  will work on the Finance and Operations team and will report directly to  the VP, Finance and Operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Partner  with organization-wide staff to identify solutions that translate  business processes in technology solutions<\/em><br \/>\n\u2022 Become an expert on  all aspects of current information and technology systems, with a focus  on Salesforce and identify and execute opportunities for data  streamlining and system automation (developing workflows, writing basic  apex code and formulas)<br \/>\n\u2022 Project manage systems related initiatives:<br \/>\n&#8211; conduct business and technical needs assessments<br \/>\n&#8211; partner with  EP staff to develop functional requirements of software tools<br \/>\n&#8211;  research and recommend new applications<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage technical  implementation with support from outside consultants as needed<\/p>\n<p><em>Evaluate  effectiveness of technology solutions and develop data driven  recommendations and improvement plans<\/em><br \/>\n\u2022 Collect and analyze data  to inform organization wide technology and systems strategy<br \/>\n\u2022  Develop goals related to efficiency, effectiveness, and utilization of  systems and monitor progress toward meeting these goals<\/p>\n<p><em>Ensure  coordination of technology systems to support overarching systems and  data strategy<\/em><br \/>\n\u2022 Contribute to short- and long-term technology  strategy<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage external vendors as necessary to implement systems<br \/>\n\u2022  Ensure technology systems and practices support organization wide  systems strategy and goals<\/p>\n<p><em>Build technical aptitude across  the organization<\/em><br \/>\n\u2022 Develop and deliver staff trainings and  provide ongoing support to maximize usage and utility<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify  opportunities to enhance capacity of staff through utilization of  technology solutions<\/p>\n<p><strong>Example tasks<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Review  all systems that feed\/extract data from CRM\u00a0system to create a road-map  to streamline, consolidate, and\u00a0expand current uses<br \/>\n\u2022 Refine  recruiting systems \u2013 research and implement\u00a0efficient survey\/data  capture system\u00a0utilizing lookup and pick-list fields<br \/>\n\u2022 Development  systems work \u2013 determine improvements in\u00a0reporting and data management;  determine efficiencies in management of\u00a0multi-site and\/or  multi-installment donations<br \/>\n\u2022 Actively contribute to our partnership  with the Broad Center on the online community\u00a0and knowledge management  system project<br \/>\n\u2022 Research and implement\u00a0a new financial tracking  system<br \/>\n\u2022 Integration of\u00a0financial tracking\u00a0system with current CRM  system to streamline\u00a0invoicing practices<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skill-set  Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Strong communication, facilitation and  interpersonal abilities to manage business expectations with  cross-functional teams, express complex technical concepts both verbally  and in writing, and work with non-technical colleagues<br \/>\n\u2022  Data-driven analysis. Driven to discover data anomalies and understand  their business implications.
