\n>> POSITION OVERVIEW:

\n>> The Manager, Foundation & Corporate Relations, will work closely
\n>> with the existing Development team to create and implement
\n>> strategies to increase StoryCorps’ income from corporate and
\n>> foundation giving. This Manager will establish annual income
\n>> goals for this sector of the department, and, with assistance from
\n>> a full-time Development Associate, will cultivate and maintain
\n>> relationships with potential and current foundation and corporate
\n>> partners in order to meet or exceed these goals.

\n>> Specific responsibilities include researching funding
\n>> opportunities and donor prospects, writing and creating effective
\n>> proposals to secure funding from these organizations, with support
\n>> from the Development Associate. When grants and sponsorships are
\n>> approved, the Manager will develop, implement, and monitor
\n>> communication plans for cultivation of donors.

\n>> The Manager will also maintain responsibility for accurate and
\n>> current information on foundation and corporate partners within
\n>> the donor database and will analyze and leverage this data to plan
\n>> strategies for the department. The Manager will regularly evaluate
\n>> the effectiveness of the department’s foundation and corporate
\n>> relations strategy, and will work to improve and refine it
\n>> accordingly.
