Naliaka Wakhisi

Before ITP I worked in several different cities with different non-profits using movement and the arts to teach math and science skills to minority youth. My passion for technology grew as I realized how important it was for minorities to have access to cutting edge tech that would enable them to have a successful future. I decided to get a Master's Degree at ITP so I could help different educational programs work on a media literacy and technology curriculum while not ignoring the arts. I plan on continuing my work in education and using my new technology, problem solving, and project building skills to help establish quality education in suffering minority communities.
