Chieh Chih(Jerry)'s area of interest is in using interactive computer graphics techniques to make intelligent and emotional user interfaces that can help users with their behaviors.

As integrated interactive media design researcher in National Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute(ITRI) Creativity Lab, he works on design research which can perform interface actions autonomously to satisfy the user's goals, and can learn from interaction with the user.

Lately, his work has concerned using a new approach to culture and mind with Reasoning to improve interfaces to interactive applications in a wide variety of domains, including digital ideographic, video, photography, sund systems and more..
