Cate Corcoran

Cate T. Corcoran studied anthropology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is a journalist who has covered technology, business and fashion for more than a decade. She has written for The New York Times Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Wired, Salon, Slate and many other publications. She is the technology editor at Women’s Wear Daily, where she writes about the intersection of technology, fashion and business. She is interested in the anthropology of everyday life, particularly fashion and the cultural meaning and effects of social media.
