Patricia Adler

Patricia is a product designer and new media artist. In 1999 she founded a London based design studio, Pepper-mint, to create furniture, products, and interiors for clients including; BBC, Bloomberg, IDEO, Selfridges, Guy’s and St.Thomas’ Hospital. In 2004 Patricia invented Magscapes, magnet-receptive wallpaper, for which she holds a patent.

Her work has been featured in publications such as; Time Magazine, New York Times, The Guardian, Elle Decoration, Vogue and BBC.

Since 2009 Patricia is based in Brooklyn, NY, focusing on her artistic pursuits – seeking to create immersive, trans-reality experiences, by means of technology. Taking the final form of kinetic sculptures, works that engage mobile platforms, video, sound and light installations. Her work can be viewed at: www.patriciaadler.info

Seeing the mobile phone as an untapped artistic medium, Patricia joined Hatch Labs (a mobile technology incubator) in September 2011. Her focus is on concept-, user experience-, and design-development. She received a Master of Professional Studies Degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
