Sarah Newhall

Sarah Newhall is Blue State Digital's Executive Vice President & Managing Director of the Washington, DC office. She is also the former Director of Analytics. Her expertise in analytics, data analysis, online marketing, and testing has helped improve clients' online performance across sectors. She has worked closely with Blue State Digital's clients to define goals and digital strategies based on the interpretation of data, and to effectively track and manage those initiatives. Sarah has worked on digital campaigns across industries and verticals, focusing on list acquisition, fundraising, social media development and integration, and mobilizing communities.

As Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Blue State Digital's DC office, Sarah oversees operations across the organization's strategy, technology, business development, and financial branches, with a particular focus on the Washington, DC business. She compiles data to drive decision-making for the business, focuses on organizational efficiencies, and provides executive oversight for account operations and program delivery.

Sarah graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in history. She spent three years at Google as a Relationship Manager and Account Strategist in the company's Mountain View, San Francisco, and Boston offices, working closely with a portfolio of clients to develop comprehensive online strategies and optimize performance with data-driven recommendations. Immediately prior to Blue State Digital, Sarah was Director of Audience and Publisher Development at Nabbr.com, a small video ad network startup.
