Frederick Muench

Fred Muench is a clinical psychologist and an Assistant Professor at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. His interests lie in researching and developing health behavior change tools for people like him who are naturally drawn to things that are generally not associated with health and wellness. He was the Director of Research and Development at Helicor (StressEraser), developed the first therapeutic smart phone application (Breathpacer) and founded the company Mobile Health Interventions which focuses on helping professionals tailor behavior change programs to their populations. He has also been an adjunct at NYU in the Department of Applied Psychology.
