Katherine Takacs

Hello! I am a part time ITPer because I work full time for NYU Tisch as the Associate Technical Director for Graduate Theater Production. I also teach Introduction to Stagecraft with two of my coworkers to our first year Graduate Design students - which is incredibly rewarding. I've been working here for 5 years now. When I moved here, I was a freelance carpenter in New York City, working in different theaters around the city. Before that, I was working Providence, Rhode Island at Trinity Repertory Company as a carpenter and the head welder in the scene shop - which was a lot of fun.
