MotionMemoriesWall

Interaction before, during and beyond any event.

http://motion-memories-wall.com/

The motion memories wall is an interactive reflection of memories before, during, after, and beyond the event in this case, the ITP spring show. The show participants can create content by documenting their projects as they setup before the show starts, creating an insider view of the backstage. The documentation to serve as motion memories for the future continues as the show commences with the selection of five volunteers who will act as mobile reporters. They will be responsible, as their title implies, to capture the atmosphere of the actual show and the mood of the people attending the show by conducting brief topical interviews. This will additionally have the effect of capturing the sentiments of the guests in relation to the entire show and to the specific projects documented in the first part, providing important feedback to the project designers.

These videos will be played during the show as an interactive display as the mobile reporters send the videos in, creating an immediate ‘live’ feel broadcasted within the show, about the show. Thus, the motion memories wall is like a mirror image reflecting to the guests the very memories they are creating as they are still experiencing them. Of course, unlike a real mirror, everything is saved for future retrieval. In this sense, the ITP spring show never ends as it can be relived as many times and as fresh as it is when it happens.

**Note: In fact, anyone who has a video phone & MMS can become a mobile reporter.**
