ODI et AMO (Hate and Love) is an animated piece of Avant-Pop visual music for a world where Blade Runner meets a 3000-year old Roman Reich. Based on a poem by Catullus, the piece drills into the deep emotions of love, hate, and desire, while floating on the artifice and superficiality of the pop aesthetic. Although Catullus wrote his Latin poetry over 2000 years ago, the themes are universal, and in the case of ODI et AMO, the translated lyrics sound almost like a Britney Spears song by a Swedish songwriter. ODI et AMO features vocals by JC Cassis.
