One or the other

A desk lamp that brings to light common stereotypes about male sexuality.

I likened the common male sexual stereotype of "You can think with one head or the other" to a simple finite state machine. A man figure was cut out of distressed wood and used as the main part of a lamp. The light is located where the head is located and the switch is the penis. When the penis is erect the lamp is off. When the light is on the switch is in the off position. It is simple but walks the line between being silly and serious.
