Using unity3d and a custom built flora and fauna arcade cabinet to tell the story of Za's adventure in the Jungle, where the main character is trying to dodge monsters and jungle pitfalls while collecting parts of her space ship so she can go back to her home.

Description

Throughout the semester, we have learned how to make games using Unity3D and various shop tools (mainly the CNC) to build out a game console and arcade cabinet. We are making game in 2D that uses side scrolling, video input, various physics, scripts and animations, and imported drawn sprites to tell a story about an alien girl getting through the obstacles of an unknown environment in order to get back home. To immerse you into the game there will be many tactile features on the cabinet as well as the game controller, which will be a vine/rope that you move around to swing the alien girl through the jungle.

Description

Big Bang Bubble Boogie is an arcade game where players must collaborate to dance their way through increasingly challenging levels to intergalactic stardom. Think of it as dance dance revolution meets whack a mole. As players walk up to our game they are greeted with a large array of colored buttons. During the game the player or players must work together to match button combinations on the controller with on-screen queues at an ever growing tempo, and using increasingly complex button combos. Players are rewarded based on how quickly they can find the right buttons and penalized for any incorrect presses, so watch out button mashers! Come join us and dance the night away doing the Big Bang Bubble Boogie.

Stair Brawl is a two-player arcade game where two sides try to reach the top of the stairs while knocking each other back with falling objects.

Description

Stair Brawl is an arcade game in a custom-built cabinet where two players compete to reach the top of a set of stairs. Players can move, jump, and wreck havoc on their opponent by sending falling objects to set them back and knock them down. This game uses an alternating button system to move so players will have to quickly press two buttons and coordinate to hit the third to rain objects on their nemesis.
