A structure that contains several stepper motors and as people walk next to it, changes its flat surface to create different shapes and patterns.

User Scenario
A person walks by the wooden box that encloses the project and an IR sensor detects the persons presence and triggers an event that produces a random extrusion of the surface.

Implementation
It is made out of 16 stepper motors that have their axis attached to a threaded rod. When the threaded rod rotates it causes a nut that is attached to the rod to either move closer or further away from the stepper. As the nuts (that are attached to a brass pipe) move closer or further away, cause a sheet of latex to deform.
