Gldf.sh is a way to privately share and collect the treasures we have found for our small circle of family and close friends. There are so many apps out there that focus on broadcasting and getting as large of an audience as possible. But what about all those people that only want to share privately and personally with the people they care about? I built gldf.sh to solve for real friendships, to make sharing more deliberate and meaningful. It's about people that you care about and giving them useful and relevant recommendations that they will enjoy.
The product is part bookmarklet, that makes the experience of sharing and sending treasures you've found easier, more seamless, and straight from the browser. Secondly, there is an accompanying site that is an archive or an inbox of all the things that people have sent you. The receiver can have a conversation with the sender, pass on the object to other friends and family, or create their own curated lists for later use.
