An interactive documentary quilt that facilitates dialogue about sexual assault and promotes healing and empowerment among its victims through collaborative storytelling.
“Courage Squared” is a collection of stories from sexual assault survivors & their supporters, woven together in the form of a web-based quilt.
The project aims to facilitate a more open and supportive dialogue around sexual assault. It encourages connections and understanding among survivors and their supporters, and shows a diversity of thought and experience around this issue which is rarely reflected in the media.
This site includes digitized quilt squares from “The Monument Quilt” project (themonumentquilt.org) as well as videos. Viewers can contribute and share squares online.
