Description
My thesis will test a hypothesis that a sharing economy model for textile production can provide a viable alternative to the traditional retail model. I intend to build a desktop jacquard loom that allows a user to design and weave their own tapestry. The design can also be sent to the loom remotely, decoupling the designer and the weaver.
