They first learn about voltage and current, and then follow that up with the basic electrical components: resistors, inductors, and capacitors. Each lesson is taught by having the child build their own part. Once they understand how each component works they can build on top of that knowledge. By understanding inductors they can begin to understand motors, generators, and radios.
