How do museum visitors craft their own learning?
Description
Design Lab is an engineering activity space at NYSCI and by having mini exhibits within it, it gives visitors the scaffolding needed for them to become engaged with the ideas within the activities. The goal of the mini-exhibit on circuitry, is to ease visitors into engineering by being relatable through the use of real circuit components and seeing what connections they make with the concept of circuits in an activity about making chain reactions.
