Introduction to Physical Computing
Inspired by Picasso's "Drawing with light" we sought out to do the same thing using video. The installation allows the user to write on screen a "digital graffiti" which then can be saved and shared with others.
Background
The assignment was to create a media controller and our ideas were all around the graphic space: video, real paint, projections
Implementation
Using a video input, Processing tracks the movement of the graffiti can using the super bright LED on the tip. But it will only draw once it receives a serial signal from the Arduino in the can via bluetooth. Shaking the can will clear the screen and allow you to paint again.
