The juxtaposition of analog expressions & digital expressions in a digital canvas. The new aesthetics considers the physicality of digital information and imagines the digital thought process. Human faces are detected and represented in a seemingly analog fashion, but in the end what the digital sees is pixels. We are blinded by our own creation, but the digital tools/machines are for our expressive needs. We shouldn’t just imagine what a machine thinks of us or just only see it represented directly in our world, but push the machines to our own expressive needs.
