Dolca Morto represents an innovative experiment at the intersection of technology and fashion, pioneering the integration of advanced digital design and virtual production methodologies into the conventional workflows of the fashion industry. At its core, the project leverages cutting-edge tools such as Clo3D and Marvelous Design for digital clothing creation, alongside Unreal Engine and LED Wall technologies for immersive visual campaigns production.

By bridging the gap between digital innovation and fashion design, Dolca Morto seeks to set a precedent for how the industry can evolve to meet the demands of the modern digital era. With the new design-production pipeline where pattern making, creative marketing and brand campaigns are empowered by these digital technologies, Dolca Morto as a fashion line, incorporates world building and speculative design as design methodologies. It portrays the look of fashion and the virtual world of the postmodern world where humans create a religion of death and life cycle because of the advance of technology.

Technical Details

The technical plan is divded into three parts: Fashion Design, Fashion Production and Campaign Content Production

In fashion design section,digital pattern making and cloth simulation is finished in Clo3D and Marvelous Design.These two softwares will also play a big role in Campaign Content Production session.

Fashion Production: this section is relatively traditional. The works cover from physcial pattern cutting, sewing,fitting, and styling.

Campaign Content Production: Lookbook of the clothing is shoot in front of a LED Wall, which is connected to Unreal real-time rendering virtual envrionment; Campaign short CGI rendering is completed in Unreal Engine and Marvelous Designer(Cloth Simulation)
