A Moment of Rest

The internet has evolved from a space of shared curiosity to one of overwhelming content overload. In response, I created a series of three website games that invite people to take a moment of rest.

Project Description
The internet was once a place of exploration, curiosity, and connection through shared interests. Today, it often feels like an uncontrollable flood—where a lighthearted meme can be instantly followed by distressing news, intrusive ads, or personal updates, all collapsing into an overwhelming blur. In response to this digital chaos, A Moment of Rest offers a series of three website games that invite users to pause, gently reconnect with themselves and others, and enjoy a moment of rest.
Cat Worm Utopia is a playful drawing tool where every line you draw turns into a fluffy, wiggling worm. These creatures create a quiet, simple world that invites fun and stress-free creativity.
Keyboard Buddha is a calm typing experience where each key you press plays a mantra sound. You can hear others typing in real time, creating a shared rhythm that feels peaceful and meditative.
Connect the Dot is a mindful multiplayer connect-the-dot sheet where people work together to reveal hidden patterns. Players move slowly and thoughtfully, creating a quiet sense of connection through shared motion.
Together, these three works offer a soft resistance to the hyper-stimulation of the web—tiny moments of rest where digital interaction becomes slower, stranger, and more intentional.
