Abstract

The research explores the ways in which security cameras function as extensions of human perception, shaping our understanding of the world and our place within it. Drawing on Donna Haraway's theories of cyborgs and post-humanism, the study will examine the complex relationships between humans and advanced technology, particularly as they relate to issues of identity, embodiment, and consciousness. By investigating the role of cameras as intermediaries between the human and technological realms, the research aims to shed light on the ways in which our understanding of ourselves and our environments is shaped by these technologies, and the potential implications of these relationships for our future.
