In the design-comp-to-website translation, in which a designer’s comprehensive design is converted into a working website, the final result is oftentimes far from the original design. Using Sass with grids heightens the chances that the designer’s intention is translated faithfully into a website.
We’ll discuss how to use The Modular Grid, an extension in beta for Chrome, to achieve near-pixel perfect translations of design comps to web pages.
