TEACHER

Rios is an artist, collaborator, and educator using electronics as a conduit for expression, education, and human connection. He holds a Bachelors in Psychology from Harvard University and an M.P.S. from ITP / NYU. His research interests include physical computing, novel musical instruments, and repurposing electronics. His personal and collaborative works take the form of sculptural and playful devices, interactive objects, workshops, talks, and educational tools. He’s worked with and presented at a variety of institutions including CS4All, City College of New York, Parsons The New School Making Center, The Williamsburg Art and Historical Center, Culturehub, Temple University, and the Abrons Art Center.
