RESIDENT RESEARCHER

Jasmine Nackash is a multidisciplinary artist who creates open-ended systems that surface complex, often uncomfortable realities, inviting reflection, uncertainty, and conversation. Using data from language, light, radio waves, or live news, she builds custom tools that reveal emergent patterns in both personal and collective experience. Her work often unfolds in real time, leaving space for unpredictability, dialogue, and change.

Jasmine holds a Master’s from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) and a Bachelor of Design from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, where she graduated with honors. Alongside her artistic practice, she has over a decade of experience in graphic and web design and development. She has taught and mentored undergraduate students in various academic areas, spanning graphic design, game and web design & development, typography, and physical computing. Her work has been exhibited at ARTECHOUSE NYC, NYC Resistor, the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center, and featured on Creative Applications Network.
