Luisa Pereira’s work lies at the intersection of technology, art, and music. Her installations, devices and prints often explore music through computation and interaction design. They have been presented at Fundación Telefónica (Santiago de Chile, 2014), the Dumbo Arts Festival (Brooklyn, 2013), Ventana 244 gallery (Brooklyn, 2013), the NIME conference (Ann Arbor, 2012), Art Futura 2012 and other venues in Montevideo, Uruguay. She holds a masters degree from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), and a Systems Engineering degree from Universidad ORT Uruguay.
