RESIDENT RESEARCHER

Nikolai Kozak is a Chilean/Argentine fabricator and programmer.
Kozak originally trained as a filmmaker and actor, which led to a career as a creative director in Europe and the Middle East. A self-taught programmer, he eventually pivoted to work as a software architect for startups in South America. Kozak undertook a fabrication specialization as part of his professional nautical training, attending the International Yacht Restoration School and earning certifications in composites manufacturing and traditional boatbuilding.
He is interested in experimental manufacturing methodologies, hardware fabrication, and programming language design. He continues to develop Frothy, a language he designed to make hardware system programming more intuitive and immediate.
